Kafr Qara: Final Approval of the Dahar Yas’in Map North of the Town
SadaNews - The District Planning and Building Committee in Haifa has officially approved the Dahar Yas’in map (No. 0804294-354) located north of Kafr Qara, allowing residents to obtain building permits and connect buildings to the electricity network, a step considered a long-awaited urban achievement for over four decades.
The approved map includes the establishment of 258 housing units, including 67 existing buildings without permits, whose owners will be able to legalize their situations. The Kafr Qara Municipality regarded this approval as a culmination of its efforts and the engineering department within a comprehensive strategy aimed at reducing unauthorized construction and enhancing organized planning in the town.
The municipality confirmed its commitment to continue working on organizing residential neighborhoods and providing a legal and safe environment that preserves the right to decent housing, while the mayor, attorney Firas Badhi, expressed his gratitude to the planners and the municipal engineer, Ms. Inas Khourshid Fahum, for their efforts in completing the project.
It is noteworthy that Israeli occupation authorities, backed by police forces and their units, demolished a house under construction in Kafr Qara this morning, Monday, on the pretext of unauthorized construction.
