SadaNews - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the bombing of a school housing displaced persons, resulting in the martyrdom of seven Palestinians and dozens of innocent civilians injured, in a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
The organization reiterated its call to the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to bear its responsibilities and put an end to all Israeli crimes and violations, establish a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire, ensure sufficient and unobstructed access to humanitarian assistance, and withdraw the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip.
It also emphasized the necessity of activating international criminal justice mechanisms to pursue and hold accountable all Israeli officials involved in committing these heinous crimes, ensuring they do not escape punishment.
