Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency Obtains Annual Renewal of International "ISO" Quality Management Certification

SadaNews - The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency obtained on Friday the annual renewal of the conformity certificate for international quality standards "ISO" in the field of donation management and project planning, implementation, and monitoring in Jerusalem.

The agency, which is affiliated with the Jerusalem Committee headed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, first received this certificate at the end of 2023 after meeting the requirements of the international standard (ISO 9001:2015) for quality management systems.

This achievement crowns a modernization path that began two years ago, through integrated procedures for digitizing the institution and improving its financial and administrative management, as well as diversifying its funding sources, in accordance with the provisions and stipulations of the agency’s statutes and its financial framework.

The agency received this renewal after a detailed and intensive external audit that included the development of a procedural manual for the quality system and monitoring performance indicators, as well as subjecting the staff in the financial and administrative departments to intensive training courses to equip them with the necessary knowledge of the concepts and requirements of the standard and a strict commitment to quality standards.

The renewal of the international quality standards compliance certificate will enable the agency to continue enhancing its image with partners, donors, and funding agencies as an institution that adheres to quality and transparency standards according to international norms in management and accounting.

In the upcoming phase, the agency looks forward to obtaining other quality standards certifications to enhance the transparency criteria applied within the institution.
