Young Man in His Twenties Dies and Young Woman Injured After Being Run Over in the Occupied Territories

SadaNews - A young man in his twenties lost his life early this Tuesday after being run over on Highway Number 2 near the town of Netanya, while a young woman sustained injuries described as moderate.

According to available information, the two young individuals had stopped their vehicle at the roadside due to a mechanical failure, and while attempting to fix the issue, they were struck by a passing vehicle, resulting in the death of the young man at the scene and injury to the young woman.

Emergency teams received a report of the pedestrian accident near the "Wingate" intersection, promptly rushing to the site and providing life-saving first aid. Medical teams performed CPR on the young man, who was about 20 years old, but due to his severe injuries, he was pronounced dead later.

A 20-year-old young woman was also treated, with her condition described as moderate. She received initial treatment at the scene before being transported by ambulance to "Laniado" Hospital in Netanya for further care.
