Tens of Thousands of Worshipers Perform Friday Prayer at Al-Aqsa
SadaNews - Tens of thousands of worshipers performed Friday prayers today at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they gathered there since the early morning hours, despite the cold weather and the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities to restrict access to Al-Aqsa.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces were deployed among the worshipers during the Friday sermon, and at the gates of iron, the council, and the column, tightening the grip at the gates of Al-Aqsa. They stopped young men, searched them, scrutinized their personal identification cards, and prevented some from reaching the mosque to pray.
The occupation forces arrested the guard of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Wahbi Makki, at the Maghrebi Gate after assaulting him physically.
