A Young Man Killed in a Shooting Incident in Deir Hanna in the 48 Territories
SadaNews - A young man (19 years old) was killed due to gunfire in a crime committed in Deir Hanna in the Battan area of the 48 Territories early this Friday morning.
This comes as the death toll in the Arab community has risen to 244 since the beginning of this year, comprising 241 citizens and 3 residents, amidst a dangerous and ongoing rise in violent crimes and organized crime.
Data indicates that 206 people have been killed by gunfire, with 123 of the victims under the age of thirty, including seven who were under 18, and 23 women.
There have also been 13 cases of killings by police gunfire.
These numbers reflect the worsening crime situation in the Arab community, amid collusion and negligence by the police and relevant government bodies regarding their role in combating crime and providing security and safety for Arab citizens.
