Police: More than 25,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Al-Karama Crossing last week
SadaNews - The Palestinian police announced that more than 25,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Al-Karama Crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 37 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (12,645) people, while the number of incoming travelers was (12,931) people, and the flow of travelers was moderate.
During the same period, the police apprehended (37) individuals wanted by the judiciary and barred from travel, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or anticipating their arrival as they entered Palestinian territories, as they are wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecutor's office.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided various facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating for (6) medical cases to travel between the two sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
