Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Field Execution is a Systematic Policy and a Deliberate Israeli War Crime

SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned in the strongest terms the horrific crime of field execution committed by the Israeli occupation army against two Palestinian young men in the Abu Zaheer Mountain area near the Jenin camp, in a scene that constitutes a documented and complete war crime and a flagrant violation of all international laws, treaties, humanitarian norms, and values. The ministry sees this crime as a direct extension of an official, systematic, and wide-ranging Israeli policy based on deliberate killing outside the legal framework, and turning Palestinian land into an open theater for war crimes in various forms, alongside the ongoing crimes committed by terrorist settlers in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem. This is coupled with the process of legitimizing crime in what is called the Israeli Knesset under the authority of the occupation, in a blatant challenge to international norms and continuous disregard for humanitarian and international law and the rights of the Palestinian people. The ministry calls on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council and international courts, to take immediate action to stop the Israeli killing machine, deter crimes, and impose urgent international protection mechanisms for the Palestinian people, including through international peacekeeping forces, and to begin prosecuting the political and military leaders of the occupation responsible for these crimes, as they are war criminals who must be held accountable under international law. The ministry confirms that it will continue its political, legal, and diplomatic efforts vigorously on both regional and international levels to expose these crimes, affirm the inalienable Palestinian rights, and hold the occupying state accountable along with anyone involved in these horrific crimes against our people, ensuring that they do not escape punishment, protecting the Palestinian people's right to life, dignity, land, and achieving justice.
