Occupation Injures Young Man in Hebron and Displaces Two Families from Northern Jericho
SadaNews - A young man was injured today, Thursday, due to an attack by Israeli occupation soldiers near the town of Idhna, west of Hebron.
Local sources reported that soldiers stationed at the military checkpoint near the town of Idhna severely beat a young man while he was trying to pass through the checkpoint, resulting in injuries and bruises, after which he was transferred to the Dura government hospital.
In another context, occupation forces forced two Bedouin families from the Baqa'a community in northern Jericho to leave the area.
The general supervisor of the Bader Human Rights Organization, Hassan Malihat, stated that occupation army forces stormed the community and displaced the families of citizens Suleiman Khaled Ka’abneh and Khaled Suleiman Ka’abneh from the eastern Baqa'a area in northern Jericho.
Malihat added that these two families had previously been displaced from the Furush Beit Dajan area southeast of Nablus on October 8, and they are now facing displacement once again.
He pointed out that Bedouin communities in Jericho and the Jordan Valley are subjected to intense assaults by settlers, as well as forced displacement operations carried out by the occupation authorities, along with the confiscation of vast areas of land.
