Traffic Accident Claims the Lives of a Man and a Woman in Jerusalem
SadaNews - A man and a woman in their early fifties were killed in the early hours of Wednesday due to a horrific traffic accident on Route 1 near the Almog junction heading toward the city of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between a private vehicle and a truck on the highway.
Upon the arrival of the teams, it was determined that the private vehicle was partially crushed under the front of the truck, with the man and woman inside unconscious, with no pulse or breathing, and with serious bodily injuries, leading to their later declaration of death.
Firefighters explained that the accident was both frontal and lateral, resulting in two individuals being trapped inside the vehicle, which necessitated complex efforts to extricate them and secure the area before formally announcing the death.
