Salama Participates in Conference for Strategic Dialogue Between Japan and the Middle East
SadaNews - Dalia Salama, a member of Fatah's Central Committee, participated in a conference titled "Second Strategic Dialogue Between Japan and the Middle East," held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on November 19-20.
Salama emphasized the importance of building bridges of dialogue between Japan and the region to reach a deeper understanding of the facts and perspectives towards ending the Israeli occupation.
She added, "Peace and stability are based on justice and the framework of rights enshrined by international will, which embodies the right of peoples to self-determination."
Salama reviewed the Palestinian vision concerning regional and international changes, emphasizing the necessity of recognizing and empowering the State of Palestine within the June 4, 1967 borders as a cornerstone for transforming the region into one of opportunities rather than threats.
It is worth noting that the conference is organized by the Levant Center for Strategic Studies (LSC) in collaboration with the ROLES Center at the University of Tokyo.
