The Murder of Two Brothers and Injury of Their Father in Ramla Raises Crime Victims in Occupied Territories to 222 Since the Beginning of the Year
SadaNews - Brothers Mohamed and Walid Maghroubi (20 and 16 years old) were killed and their father was injured in a shooting crime committed in the city of Ramla in the occupied territories, late Friday - Saturday night.
The victims and their father were transferred after receiving initial treatment to "Asaf Harofeh" hospital to continue their treatment; where it was confirmed that they had died after attempts to save their lives failed, as reported by Arab 48.
The Israeli police stated that they arrested a number of suspects involved in the crime and suspected that the motive behind it was a "bloody conflict."
In Qalanswa, a 15-year-old boy was injured as a result of a stabbing incident, resulting in moderate injuries.
A medical team from "Magen David Adom" provided initial treatments for the boy, who was then referred to "Meir" hospital for further treatment.
In Haifa, a young woman in her twenties was injured with moderate injuries due to a shooting incident.
The young woman was transported after receiving initial treatments to "Rambam" hospital in the city to continue her treatment.
In Judeida-Makr, a 48-year-old man was injured with moderate injuries after being subjected to a shooting incident, and was referred to the Galilee Medical Center (Nahariya Hospital) for treatment.
The police did not report the background of these crimes or arrest any suspects involved in them.
222 Arab Victims Since the Beginning of the Year
This comes amid a serious and unprecedented escalation in acts of violence and murder crimes within the Arab community, resulting in 222 fatalities since the beginning of the year until today, amidst police complicity and negligence in performing its role in combating crime and ensuring safety and security for Arab citizens.
The data indicates that 187 people were killed by gunfire, of which 109 victims were under the age of thirty, including five children under eighteen and 20 women. Moreover, 12 murder cases were recorded by the police.
These shocking figures reflect the extent of the escalation of violence and crime in the Arab community, in light of the Israeli police's complicity and negligence in fulfilling its role in combating crime and holding criminals accountable.
