The number of killings has risen since the beginning of the year 2025 to 219 murders, marking the highest annual toll recorded to date. This was reported by the Arab 48 website.
The latest victim is Murad Youssef, a 22-year-old from the Al-Halissa neighborhood in Haifa.
According to details, a spokesman for the "Magen David Adom" service stated that a young man was shot on Highway 66 and later pronounced dead.
The Israeli police announced they had opened an investigation into a shooting that targeted a person on Highway 66 near the "Hatchbi" junction, and the shooting resulted in serious injuries to a 22-year-old from Haifa, who was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
The Israeli police arrived at the crime scene and began searching for suspects in the shooting, investigating the background and circumstances of the criminal incident.
In the village of Salem in the Talaa Ara region, the young man Abd al-Fattah Jamal Sabihats was shot to death while on his way to work this Friday morning.
According to available information, at 6:15 AM, a report was received by the Magen David Adom emergency service 101 in the Jalbo area indicating that a person had been injured in a violent crime in the Talaa Ara area.
Medical teams reported that a 32-year-old man showed no signs of life, suffering from fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the crime scene.
219 Arab fatalities since the beginning of the year
This comes amid a serious and unprecedented escalation in violence and murder crimes in the Arab community, which have resulted in 219 fatalities since the start of the year to date, amidst police complicity and negligence in their role in combating crime and providing security for Arab citizens.
Data indicate that 183 people were killed by gunfire, with 106 of the victims below the age of thirty, including four children under the age of eighteen and 20 women. Additionally, 11 murders were recorded by the police.
