Settlers Plow Citizens' Lands East of Idna Town
SadaNews - Today, Sunday, settlers plowed the lands of citizens in the town of Idna, west of Hebron, in preparation for seizing them and annexing them to the recently established settlement outpost.
The mayor of Idna, Jaber Tmaizi, stated that the settlers, accompanied by agricultural tractors, plowed the lands of citizens in the Jalatiya area east of the town, which belong to the Tmaizi and Sawafe families, among others, to plant them and include them in the lands that were seized in the past months, aiming to expand the new settlement outpost.
He pointed out that a number of settlers residing in the settlement are protecting the occupation forces by terrorizing citizens, pursuing them, attacking them, and arresting them, with the aim of emptying the area to implement further colonial plans aimed at controlling more of the town's lands that have been consumed by the separation wall and the settlement outposts legalized by the occupying government.
Tmaizi called on farmers and landowners to gather tomorrow morning in the area to reject the occupation's policy of forcefully seizing these lands, noting that the municipality will work within the law to stop this policy aimed at displacing citizens and forcefully controlling their lands.
