Police: 25,000 travelers have crossed the Al-Karama crossing
SadaNews - More than 25,000 citizens and visitors crossed the Al-Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 51 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of departures during the week was (12,613) individuals, while the number of arriving travelers was (12,569) individuals, and the movement of travelers was moderate.
During the same period, (51) individuals wanted by the judiciary and banned from traveling were arrested, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or while being anticipated upon their entry into Palestinian territory. They are wanted in cases pending before the courts and the public prosecution.
The police, along with all security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders, provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordination for (6) medical cases for travel between the two sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulance vehicles.
