Death of an Infant and Evacuation of 3 Premature Babies from Al-Hilu Hospital in Gaza City to Southern Gaza
SadaNews - A newborn infant died today, Friday, at Al-Hilu Hospital in the Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City.
Medical sources reported that a child died in the hospital's nursery, while 3 premature babies were transferred from the hospital to hospitals in southern Gaza in collaboration with the World Health Organization.
The sources indicated that there are still 10 premature babies in the nursery at Al-Hilu Hospital, amid difficulties in reaching or exiting the hospital.
Last Monday, the occupying army surrounded Al-Shifa and Al-Hilu International Hospitals in Gaza City, targeting them with a barrage of artillery shells, despite the presence of dozens of patients and displaced individuals inside, while the occupation surrounded Al-Hilu Hospital from all sides.
It is worth noting that Al-Hilu Hospital contains several departments, including a cancer patients' ward, and there are more than 90 individuals, including medical staff and trapped patients inside, amid a complete disruption of communications and internet.
