Body of a girl found in Rahat in the occupied interior
SadaNews - The body of a 22-year-old girl was found in the city of Rahat in the Negev region, southern Israel, this Thursday morning.
According to the initial information available, the girl's body, showing signs of violence, was discovered in a valley near the cultural palace area in neighborhood number 3 of the city of Rahat. Police and medical teams were summoned, who had no choice but to declare the girl dead.
The rescue teams found the body after receiving a report from motorbike riders who were in the area.
Adam Al-Touri, spokesperson for the rescue union, said, "The teams arrived at the site and it became clear that the body belonged to a 22-year-old girl, and there were no signs of life, as her death was pronounced at the scene."
The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the girl's body, and have not disclosed any details or background of the incident so far.
