The Public Prosecution and the Council of Governors Hold a Coordinating Meeting to Strengthen the Rule of Law and Develop Mechanisms for Working Together

SadaNews - The Attorney General, Counselor Akram Al-Khatib, held today, Monday, in Ramallah, an extensive coordinating meeting with the Council of Governors and the heads of the district attorney offices in various provinces, with the presence of the President's Advisor for Governor Affairs, Assistant to the Supreme Commander of the Security Forces, General Hajj Ismail Jabr, and the Provincial Affairs Coordinator, Governor Mufaq Draghamah.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and integration between the Public Prosecution and the governors, ensuring the development of mechanisms for joint work and the unification of efforts to serve citizens, strengthen the rule of law, and facilitate the enforcement of judicial decisions and rulings in all provinces.

In his speech, the Attorney General welcomed the participants, emphasizing the depth of the integrative relationship between the Public Prosecution and state institutions, and stressing the importance of collective efforts to combat phenomena that violate the law, foremost among them the encroachments on public property, attacks on water and electricity networks, and other practices that affect the rights and vital interests of citizens. He affirmed that this meeting embodies the steadfast commitment of the Public Prosecution and state institutions to enhance the rule of law and safeguard rights and freedoms, through continuous institutional coordination that serves the public interest.

For his part, General Hajj Ismail Jabr praised the role of the Public Prosecution and its efforts in establishing the foundations of justice, affirming that this cooperation aligns with the directives of His Excellency the President aimed at enhancing the unity of national joint work, and elevating the level of services provided to the Palestinian citizen, while overcoming obstacles, contributing to the development of institutional performance in various sectors, and achieving the public good.
