The Bar Association and the Land Research Center Launch a Specialized Cooperation Framework in Land and Planning Issues

SadaNews - The President of the Palestinian Bar Association, Attorney Fadi Abbas, signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday with the Land Research Center / Arab Studies Association, represented by its Director General, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Hassasneh.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation and integration between the two parties by organizing meetings, workshops, and specialized training for lawyers in the field of land and planning, exchanging legal information and expertise, and joint work on related issues, which contributes to raising the level of the profession and developing legal capabilities to serve the Palestinian community in light of the challenges facing our people.

Attorney Abbas emphasized that signing the memorandum represents an important step towards raising the level of specialization for lawyers concerned with land and planning issues, and building a specialized legal pathway that addresses this matter by deepening legal understanding in this field, especially in the most targeted settlement areas in light of the legislative system and the measures taken by the occupation.

For his part, Mr. Hassasneh stressed the importance of this cooperation, stating: "This memorandum aims to develop programs and activities that contribute to defending Palestinian rights and enhancing legal presence at all levels."

The two parties indicated that the memorandum constitutes a general framework for joint work, and future projects and activities will be built upon it, outlining the responsibilities of each party according to the priorities of cooperation.
