Woman Killed and Her Daughter and Son (14 and 4 Years Old) Injured in Shooting Crime in Ramla
SadaNews - A woman was killed and her 14-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son were injured in a shooting crime that targeted them while they were in a vehicle in the city of Ramla today, Wednesday, bringing the total number of women killed in the Arab community this year to 19.
The injuries of the daughter and son were described as moderately serious, and the crime was committed near a kindergarten in the city; the police also mentioned that relatives of the woman had previously attempted to kill her.
Reports indicated that a bomb had been planted in the victim's car last year, and she had also been stabbed earlier.
The occupying police announced that they "arrested three of the victim's relatives in Ramla on suspicion of their involvement in the murder that occurred this morning."
The occupying police claimed that they had opened a file to investigate the circumstances of the crime.
This crime comes shortly after the killing of young man Muhammad Murid (19 years old) in a stabbing incident committed in the city of Haifa.
182 Arab Fatalities Since the Beginning of the Year
The death toll from murder crimes in the Arab community since the beginning of this year has reached 182 fatalities.
According to available data, among the victims are 179 Arab citizens in addition to residents, including 19 women.
The data indicates that 152 people were killed by gunfire, while 89 of the victims were under the age of thirty, including three children who had not yet turned eighteen. Nine cases of killings by the police were also recorded.
These shocking numbers reflect the extent of the escalation of violence and crime in the Arab community, amid the complicity of the Israeli police and their failure to fulfill their role in combating crime and holding criminals accountable.
