SadaNews - Spain has joined four countries in threatening to withdraw from the "Eurovision" Song Contest 2026 if the occupying state of Israel participates, in rejection of the genocide being perpetrated for nearly two years on the Gaza Strip.

According to Spanish television, Spain has decided to withdraw from participating in the Eurovision music festival if Israel takes part.

Recently, the Netherlands joined Ireland, Slovenia, and Iceland in threatening to withdraw from the European Song Contest 2026 if the occupying state of Israel participates.
