The "Foreign Ministry" Calls for International Deterrent Measures to Stop the Occupation War on the Components of the Palestinian State

SadaNews - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is closely following up with countries and decision-making centers in them, as well as political and legal components of the international community regarding the escalation in the occupation's war against the components of the Palestinian state, and the opportunity to realize it on the ground, especially in light of the tangible international consensus on implementing the two-state solution as the viable solution to the conflict.

The ministry views the occupation's unilateral measures with extreme seriousness, including the installation of more iron gates at the remaining entrances to Palestinian cities, villages, and refugee camps, and the issuing of occupation orders to bulldoze 200 dunams of citizens' lands in Tulkarem, under false pretenses and flimsy claims.

Additionally, it considers the tightening of the financial and economic chokehold on the Palestinian National Authority to be extremely serious, as well as the crimes of extermination, starvation, and displacement being witnessed in the Gaza Strip, coupled with the Israeli bragging about plans to separate it from the occupied West Bank. This occurs amidst the further opening of settlement roads, the construction of spontaneous outposts, and an intensification of what has come to be known as pastoral settlement, with colonists violating more than 60% of the occupied West Bank.

The ministry welcomes once again the measures taken by many countries, especially European ones, against colonization, its symbols, its associations, and those who stand behind it; however, it considers these measures insufficient and not commensurate with the level and size of the challenges facing the State of Palestine.

In this context, it calls for intensified international sanctions and measures imposed by international law to deter the extremist Israeli government and compel it to stop its crimes against our people and all its unilateral actions that threaten to ignite the arena of conflict, and the region as a whole.
