5 Injured by Occupation Gunfire in Deir Jrir East of Ramallah
SadaNews - Five young men were injured by Israeli occupation gunfire early this Friday morning in the village of Deir Jrir, east of Ramallah city.
The head of the Deir Jrir Village Council, Fathi Hamdan, stated in a phone call with "Wafa" that the occupation forces opened fire on a group of young men on the road connecting the village with the nearby town of Silwad, resulting in injuries to five of them.
He noted that two injuries were described as moderate and three others were minor, while one of the injured was held by the occupation for some time before being handed over to the ambulance crews.
Hamdan pointed out that the occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town for several hours.
