Lieutenant General Bilal Al-Natsheh Condemns the Israeli Aggression Against the Sisterly State of Qatar

SadaNews - Lieutenant General Bilal Al-Natsheh, the Secretary-General of the National Conference for Jerusalem and the Secretary of the Permanent Qatari Committee for Supporting Jerusalem, condemned the blatant Israeli aggression carried out by Israel against the sisterly state of Qatar. He considered it a crossing of all red lines and a message to the entire world that Israel can do whatever it wants whenever it wants because it believes it will not face deterrence or punishment from the international community, particularly the United States. He added, "He who is ensured against punishment misbehaves." 

Al-Natsheh stated in a press statement today, Wednesday, that this aggression, which primarily targeted Qatari sovereignty, should not go unnoticed by the international community, especially the Security Council, which is called upon to convene an exceptional and urgent session to confirm its rejection of this aggression and to take immediate action against the state of Israeli occupation that will serve as a deterrent both now and in the future. He pointed out that if this does not happen, such aggression could affect other countries as well. 

Al-Natsheh denounced the blatant aggression, deeming it a significant step in the assault and escalation of arrogance by the Israeli occupation state against the sovereignty of weighty states in the Middle East—states that seek to eliminate the specter of war from the region and achieve a just and comprehensive peace for all peoples, so that future generations may enjoy security and stability away from bloodshed, displacement, and starvation.

He emphasized that the state of Qatar is the main sponsor of the ongoing negotiations between Israel and Hamas, with the participation of the American envoy, Mitchell. This is aimed at stopping the bloody war on our people in the Gaza Strip. He added that the Israeli aggression against the Qatari state is a message rejecting this mediation, but not in diplomatic expressions, rather through a message stained with blood. 

Al-Natsheh affirmed that the Palestinian leadership, headed by His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas "Abu Mazen," and the Palestinian people hold great respect and appreciation for the Qatari state, which has not hesitated to extend a helping hand to the Palestinians in various fields. It also supports our right to liberation from occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, noting that its role since the beginning of the genocide war until today marks a significant milestone in Arab political and diplomatic efforts, which is appreciated by the Palestinian leadership and all our people in all their places of residence.
