Young man seriously injured in shooting crime in Yafa Nazareth
SadaNews - A young man in his thirties was seriously injured this morning, Monday, as a result of a shooting crime in the town of Yafa Nazareth.
According to medical sources, a report was received at 06:48 about an incident of violence in the town, where a medical team provided first aid to the injured young man, before he was rapidly transported to the English hospital in Nazareth in critical and unstable condition, after suffering penetrating wounds.
A large number of Israeli occupation police forces arrived at the crime scene, where they sealed off the area and claimed to have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, without announcing any arrests.
117 Arab fatalities since the beginning of the year
On Sunday morning, Mahmoud Samir Khateeb (41 years old) from the town of Majd al-Krum was killed as a result of a stabbing crime in the town of Kafr Yasif in the Shaghour area, raising the toll of murder victims in the Arab community since the beginning of this year to 177 fatalities, including 11 killed just in the past week.
According to available data, among the victims are 175 Arab citizens and residents, including 18 women.
The numbers indicate that 150 people were killed by gunfire, while 88 of the victims were under the age of thirty, including three children who had not yet reached eighteen. There were also 9 cases of killings by the police.
These shocking numbers reflect the extent of the escalation of violence and crime in the Arab community, amidst accusations directed at the Israeli police for their failure to fulfill their role in combating crime and holding criminals accountable, which increases feelings of anger and tension among residents.
