Palestinian Civil Organizations Denounce the Targeting of the Aysha Association for the Protection of Women and Children by the Occupation in Gaza City
SadaNews - The Palestinian Network of Civil Organizations strongly denounces the crime of the occupation in targeting the headquarters of the Aysha Association for the Protection of Women and Children in Gaza City, which resulted in the martyrdom of one employee, a pregnant woman among the visitors, a child, and numerous injuries among those present inside and around the headquarters.
The network points out that this Israeli bombardment represents a crime in a long series of crimes perpetrated during its aggression against the Gaza Strip against Palestinian civilians and humanitarian institutions.
The network emphasizes that this bombardment comes within the context of the Israeli escalation in Gaza City, aimed at pressuring the population for forced displacement and halting the work of humanitarian organizations at a time when our people need all forms of humanitarian response, especially women and children.
The network calls on all UN bodies and international organizations to work towards pressuring to stop the Israeli aggression against our people and to provide international protection for civilians and civil organizations.
The network also demands accountability for the occupation for the genocide it perpetrates against Palestinian civilians and justice for the victims.
