Young Man Killed in Shooting Incident in Arraba in Occupied Territories
SadaNews - Young man Khaled Asila (25 years old) was killed early this Wednesday morning, after being subjected to a shooting incident in the city of Arraba in the Galilee region of the 1948 territories.
Violent crimes continue to claim lives in the Arab community in Israel at a shocking pace, with 6 Arab citizens killed since the beginning of the week.
Thus, the toll of murder victims in the Arab community has risen to 172 since the beginning of this year, including 168 Arabs and residents, among them 17 women.
Data indicates that 143 of the victims were killed by gunfire, with 84 of them under the age of thirty, including three who were killed before reaching the age of 18. There have also been 9 cases of killings by the police.
These shocking figures come amidst the worsening of murders and acts of violence, with increasing accusations against the police for failing to fulfill their role in curbing crime and holding criminals accountable.
