Occupation Forces Demolish Wedding Hall in Kafr Masr for the Second Time
Sada News - Israeli occupation machinery and bulldozers demolished and vandalized the Al-Balad Wedding Park in Kafr Masr, Nazareth district, in the north of the country, this morning, Tuesday, for the second time in 28 days, under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Demolition vehicles stormed the area under the protection of a large force of Israeli police, who surrounded the demolition site and prevented residents from entering.
The demolition comes despite a recent decision allowing work to be prepared at the park, and despite a scheduled meeting with the district planning and building committee to attempt to include the park in the town's structural map next November.
Israeli authorities had previously demolished the park on July 28, and residents of Kafr Masr and neighboring towns rushed to restore it, following continuous complaints from residents of nearby Jewish settlements about the loud noise.
The regional council of Bustan al-Marj has attempted in several sessions to include the park in the town's structural map, but the district planning and building committee rejected this.
