Occupation Forces Demolish Wedding Hall in Kafr Mssr for the Second Time
SadaNews - Israeli occupation machinery and bulldozers demolished and destroyed the town's wedding park in Kafr Mssr, Nazareth District, northern Israel, this morning, Tuesday, for the second time in 28 days, claiming it was built without a permit.
The demolition machinery entered the area under the protection of a large contingent of Israeli police, who surrounded the demolition site and prevented residents from entering.
This demolition comes despite a decision issued in recent days permitting work to be done in the park, and despite a scheduled meeting with the district planning and construction committee to try to include the park in the town's master plan next November.
Israeli authorities previously demolished the park on July 28th, and the residents of Kafr Mssr and neighboring towns rushed to renovate it after continuous complaints from residents of the neighboring Jewish settlements regarding noise levels.
The Bustan al-Marj regional council has attempted in several sessions to include the park in the town's master plan, but the district planning and construction committee rejected this proposal.
