Al-Sharqawi: Moroccan investment in Palestinian generations is not temporary or incidental, but a continuous effort supported by King Mohammed VI

SadaNews - The director in charge of managing the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Ash-Sharif Agency, Mohammed Salem Al-Sharqawi, affirmed yesterday in Rabat that Moroccan investment in Palestinian generations is neither temporary nor incidental but rather a continuous effort overseen by the Moroccan monarch, King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee.

Al-Sharqawi stated, in a speech during the celebration of Youth Day in Morocco, with the participation of Palestinian and Moroccan children, that over the course of sixteen consecutive sessions of the Al-Quds Children's Camp, approximately 800 children have visited the kingdom, with 50 participants in each session, along with 80 Palestinian guides. They toured most of its cities, from the north to the center, the east, and then the south, to witness the depth of the country, its authenticity, history, and civilization.

He added that the camping sessions achieved their intended goals, leaving every year positive effects on the psyche of these young Palestinians, opening up hope for them to realize their small and large dreams together in their homeland among their families and relatives, participating in building a future filled with manifestations of a decent life, tranquility, and security, with a positive spirit that despair does not infiltrate.

For his part, the Palestinian ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Al-Shoubaki, discussed the significance of this session's title "Harat Al-Magharba", emphasizing that "this name has never been just a designation for one of the neighborhoods of Jerusalem, but is a symbol of a deep-rooted Moroccan presence and continuous historical presence in the heart of the holy city, and a manifestation of the solidarity between the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples over time."

Meanwhile, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication (Moroccan Minister), Mustafa Al-Masoudi, confirmed that the royal patronage of the camping program for the benefit of Al-Quds children reflects the special care that the king provides for Palestinian youth and the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples.

He pointed out that the choice of "Harat Al-Magharba" as the title for this session was granted by the king, symbolizing a strong symbolic indication of the historical connection of Moroccans to the holy Al-Quds.

For their part, the children participating in this educational program expressed their overwhelming happiness with this "rich experience, which allowed them to discover aspects of Moroccan civilization and get to know their Moroccan peers closely in an atmosphere of brotherhood and solidarity".

Several of them confirmed that this participation will remain "etched in their memory as an exceptional phase, filled with noble human values, expressing their gratitude for the royal patronage that embraced them through this initiative, and all those involved who contributed to its success".

This year's camp program featured the organization of a summer school on the topic "Let's make electronic games a means for education, teaching and entertainment", in addition to artistic and sports competitions, and tourism visits that included the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Tetouan, Mdiq, and Chefchaouen.
