Boy Dies from Injuries Sustained in a Traffic Accident in the Negev

SadaNews - It was announced in the village of Kuseife in the Negev region, southern occupied Palestine, this Thursday morning, the death of the boy Ahmed Kaid Abu Ajaj (16 years old) due to his serious injuries resulting from a horrific car accident that occurred on August 5.

 

The accident, which took place on Route 90, resulted in the death of the boy Suleiman Nawaf Abu Ajaj (16 years old) from the village of Al-Zaroura near Kuseife, and the injury of three others, including the boy Ahmed Kaid Abu Ajaj who suffered serious injuries and passed away this morning.

A state of sadness and mourning prevailed among relatives and friends of the accident victim as the heartbreaking news spread, and a number of locals gathered at his family's home in the village to offer their condolences and stand by them in this painful ordeal.

Official data indicates that 290 people, including 84 Palestinian citizens, have lost their lives in traffic accidents on various roads since the beginning of this year 2025 up to today.

For comparison, 437 people, including 162 Palestinians, lost their lives in traffic accidents on various roads during the last year 2024. In the previous year 2023, 356 people, including 98 Palestinians, died in traffic accidents.

Additionally, 352 people lost their lives in traffic accidents in 2022, 369 in 2021, 306 in 2020, and 355 victims in 2019. In 2022, 115 Palestinians died in traffic accidents, while in 2021, 109 Arab citizens lost their lives, 99 victims in 2020, and 110 victims in 2019.
