Two killed in two hours in separate shooting incidents in Jaljulia and Rama in the occupied interior

SadaNews - Two young men were killed today, Monday, in two separate shooting incidents that occurred within two hours in the towns of Rama in Upper Galilee and Jaljulia in the southern Triangle, marking a new escalation in the wave of violence rampant within the territories of 1948.

In the town of Rama, a 29-year-old man was killed after being shot, with medical teams arriving at the scene and declaring his death immediately due to his serious injuries.

Later, medical teams reported they had received notification about a young man critically injured from a shooting in the town of Jaljulia, and first aid was provided on the ground before he was transferred to the hospital in an attempt to save his life, but he died from his injuries.

The Israeli police announced they had opened an investigation into the crime that occurred in Jaljulia, noting that the victim was in his twenties and that he was shot while inside his car.

With the deaths of the two young men, the toll of murder victims in the Arab community since the beginning of 2025 has risen to 153, including 15 women. Data indicates that 131 of the victims were killed by gunfire, 75 of whom were under the age of thirty, including 3 children under 18, while 9 were killed by police.

These crimes come amid the ongoing state of lawlessness and the rise of organized crime and violence, alongside increasing accusations against the Israeli police for their failure to rein in crime in Arab towns, despite the rising number of victims year after year.

The year 2024 witnessed the killing of 221 people in the Arab community, while 222 murders were recorded in 2023, highlighting the continuation of the phenomenon without any notable radical solutions.
