The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Urges the Security Council to Assume Its Responsibilities to Stop the Genocide in the Gaza Strip
SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has urged the United Nations Security Council to assume its responsibilities to impose an immediate ceasefire, halt the crimes of genocide, displacement, and annexation against the Palestinian people, and to adopt and implement the outcomes of the international conference for resolving the Palestinian issue and applying the two-state solution.
The ministry stated, in a statement, that it views with great seriousness the disruption and absence of the Security Council's role in saving the lives of more than two million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip who are living under a systematic death circle of killing, starvation, thirst, and deprivation of medicine, treatment, and all basic humanitarian rights, amid the continued prolongation of the deliberate war, serving different political agendas and interests.
It stressed that procrastination and delay in the immediate cessation of the war serve the plans for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.
