The European Union and Diplomats Offer Condolences to Um al-Khair for the Martyrdom of al-Hathaleen
SadaNews - Yesterday, Thursday, a delegation from the Office of the European Union Representative and other diplomatic missions extended their condolences to the people of Um al-Khair for the martyrdom of Awad al-Hathaleen, a father of three children, who was killed by a settler while attempting to confront their attacks.
The occupation has turned the area into a closed military zone, and the occupation forces continue to withhold his body and refuse to allow for a proper burial.
Since January 2023, more than 2,800 Palestinians have been displaced due to settler violence and the associated coercive practices.
In 2025 alone, reports indicate that settlers killed four Palestinians, including al-Hathaleen, and injured more than 350 others.
