Interior Minister Meets His Bahraini Counterpart to Discuss Enhancing and Developing Mechanisms for Bilateral Cooperation
SadaNews - The Interior Minister Ziad Hab al-Raih and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with the Bahraini Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa at the Bahraini Ministry of Interior, in the presence of the Deputy Interior Minister and the Head of Public Security.
The minister conveyed the greetings of President Mahmoud Abbas "Abu Mazen" and Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa to His Majesty the King of Bahrain and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and updated him on the latest developments in the difficult exceptional situation faced by the Palestinian people in light of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and the arbitrary measures and assaults in the West Bank, affirming the State of Palestine's eagerness to develop relations and enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, the Bahraini Interior Minister welcomed Minister Hab al-Raih and his accompanying delegation, emphasizing the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Mahmoud Abbas "Abu Mazen", and the steadfast position of the Kingdom of Bahrain regarding the Palestinian issue, and the efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful and just solution, and ending the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian delegation included, alongside the Interior Minister, Major General Iyad al-Aqra, General Director of the Preventive Security Service, Major General Alam al-Saqa, General Director of Police, Major General Dr. Muhammad Jabreen, Security Assistant to the Interior Minister, and Brigadier General Dr. Mahmoud Salah al-Din, Head of the Arab and International Cooperation Unit at the Ministry of Interior.
