Shibli Updates the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy on the Latest Developments in Palestine
SadaNews - Ambassador Hadi Shibli, the permanent representative of the State of Palestine to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, met with Dr. Qutub Sano, the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, at the Academy headquarters in the city of Jeddah.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shibli reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, especially the ongoing aggression and genocide faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza, in addition to the rising Israeli violations in the occupied West Bank, including attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites in the city of Jerusalem, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque.
For his part, Sano emphasized the central importance of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Islamic nation, stressing that supporting the just rights of the Palestinian people is one of the fundamental principles of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.
First Counselor Naseem Al-Za'anin also attended the meeting.
