Woman Killed in Shooting Incident.. 8 Suspects Arrested from Abu Sinan

SadaNews - The Israeli occupation police arrested 8 suspects in connection with the crime involving the young woman Sherihan Mashlab (35 years old) last night, following a shooting inside her home in the village of Abu Sinan in the Galilee region, northern occupied Palestine.

 

According to the police spokesperson, "8 suspects were arrested last night as part of the investigation, some of whom are family members of the victim."

The spokesperson added, "Following the murder of the woman that occurred last night in the village of Abu Sinan, the coastal district police, part of the crime investigation unit in the (Asher) area, initiated an intensive investigation and arrested 8 suspects overnight for interrogation, some of whom are family members of the victim."

It was indicated that "the police will request this morning to extend the detention of 3 main suspects for their involvement in the incident."

14 Arab Women Killed Since the Beginning of the Year

Statistics reveal that 14 Arab women have been killed since the beginning of this year, 2025, compared to five victims during the same period last year.

Following the announcement of the murder of Sherihan Mashlab (35 years) in the shooting incident inside her home in the town of Abu Sinan, the total number of homicide victims in the Arab community within the country has reached 149 since the beginning of 2025, in incidents related to crime and violence, including 14 women and 147 citizens, in addition to two residents.

Data shows that 127 individuals were killed in shooting crimes, among them 73 under the age of thirty, and 3 under the age of eighteen, in addition to 14 women and 9 victims who were killed by Israeli police fire.

During the same period in 2024, the number of victims was 132, indicating an increase of approximately 13% in the number of victims this year.
