A Young Man Dies in a Traffic Accident in Jerusalem

SadaNews - A 25-year-old man was killed in the early hours of Thursday morning after his motorcycle skidded in the city of Jerusalem.

One of the paramedics who arrived at the scene said: "We saw the motorcyclist lying by the side of the road, unconscious and with no pulse or breathing. We performed immediate resuscitation and quickly transported him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead just a few minutes later."

For its part, the police announced that it has begun an investigation into the circumstances of the accident, which was described as a single-vehicle incident that occurred at the Golomb intersection in Jerusalem.

In a separate incident that also took place in the early hours, a 15-year-old boy sustained serious injuries, while another 16-year-old boy sustained minor injuries as a result of an overturning "tractor" in the village of Jatt in the Triangle area.

A spokesperson for Magen David Adom stated that a report was received at 2:01 AM at the emergency center about the overturning of a "tractor" in the village of Jatt.

He added: "The ambulance crew provided medical treatment to the injured at the scene, and then they were transported to Hillel Yaffe Hospital, where one of them, a 15-year-old boy, was reported to be in serious condition due to a head injury, while the other boy sustained minor injuries."

Paramedic Adam Arda, who participated in treating the injured, explained: "We found the boy lying by the side of the road, unconscious and suffering from a head injury after he overturned while driving the tractor. We also treated another boy who sustained minor injuries. They were transported to the hospital in stable condition."
