SadaNews - The Jerusalem Fund and the Al-Maqasid Charity Hospital Association signed a funding agreement today, Tuesday, to shelter a number of patients from Gaza and their companions who were unable to return home due to the ongoing war on Gaza.
The agreement, signed by the acting director of the fund, Mohamed Cherkaoui, and the director general of Al-Maqasid Hospital, Omar Abu Zaidah, covers the costs of accommodation, housing, and nutrition for patients from Gaza and their companions for a period of five months, renewable.
Abu Zaidah expressed his appreciation to the Kingdom of Morocco, its king, government, and people, led by King Mohammed VI, the chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, for this initiative, praising the ongoing role of the Jerusalem Fund in supporting the city of Jerusalem and its institutions and its people, as well as the Palestinian people in Gaza and across the homeland.
The acting director of the fund visited the ongoing updates and repairs of the hospital's departments and buildings, and then inspected the conditions of shelter for patients from Gaza and their companions in one of the hotel units near the hospital.
