Worker Injured Seriously After Falling from Height in "Ashkelon"
SadaNews - A worker was injured with injuries described as serious after falling from a height in the city of Ashkelon (al-Majdal - Asqalan) in the southern part of the country this Thursday morning.
The media department of the "Rescue Union - Southern District" reported that "a worker approximately 60 years old sustained serious injuries after falling from a height while working in a construction site on "HaGibora" street in Ashkelon."
The head of the Ashkelon and Coastal branch, Mikhail Rashid, and medics Yaakov Mazoz and Moti Cohen from the Rescue Union stated that "the worker, about 60 years old, fell from scaffolding about 6 meters high during his work. We provided him with initial medical treatment, and then he was transferred to continue receiving treatment at the hospital, where his condition was described as serious."
The occupying police claimed that they opened a file to investigate the circumstances of the incident, in addition to notifying representatives of the Ministry of Economy (industry, trade, and labor) accordingly.
