Haifa: Body Found in Open Area
SadaNews - A body was found this morning, Sunday, in an open area in the city of Haifa, on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, in northern occupied Palestine.
The spokesperson for the organization "Zaka - Search and Rescue" reported that "early this morning, a report was received at the Zaka 1220 center about finding a body on a steep slope in Stella Maris in Haifa."
He added that "Zaka volunteers from the northern area worked at the scene to respect the deceased and gather information."
A volunteer from the northern area, Sarolik Lazar, who arrived at the scene, stated that "this is a complex scene, as the body was found on a steep slope in an open area a few days after death. In cooperation with an expanded team of rescue crews, we were able to remove the body from the area."
The police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
