Singel Municipality Closes Openings Leading to Mount Al-Tal and Al-Batin to Prevent Settler Invasions
SadaNews - On Saturday, the Singel Municipality closed four openings on the main Ramallah - Nablus road to prevent settler invasions into the town's lands.
The municipality clarified in a statement that the closure of these dirt openings leading to Mount Al-Tal and Al-Batin aims to cut off the access for settlers who have been accustomed to entering through these openings and traversing the plain up to the mountain to establish their colonial outposts there.
The head of the Singel Municipality, Mu'taz Abdul Rahman, explained that this measure is part of the municipality's and the townspeople's efforts to protect their lands and prevent attempts at settlement and encampment in the area, especially following the repeated assaults witnessed in the past two months.
