Raids and Arrests in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of incursions and raids in various parts of the West Bank early this Sunday morning, which included confrontations in some locations resulting in injuries and cases of suffocation, in addition to carrying out a series of arrests against several Palestinians.

During the incursions, the occupation forces stormed dozens of homes, searched them, and ransacked their contents, while subjecting the residents to field interrogations after detaining them for hours, amidst heavy military presence in the targeted cities and towns.

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested Aref Salameh and four of his sons from the Al-Salam neighborhood in Anata, as well as Zain Nabil Salameh and Adam Salameh during a wide-scale raid and search operation in the area.

In Jenin province, the Prisoner Club reported that the occupation forces arrested a woman and her son during an incursion into the Almania neighborhood, and also raided the village of Siris south of the city. In Jericho, they arrested the released prisoner Louay Al-Najjar following the storming of his home in Aqabat Jabr camp.

In Ramallah province, the occupation forces stormed the Jalazone camp north of the city, arresting young Hamada Sharaka after raiding one of the houses, and also carried out an incursion into the village of Deir Abu Mishal northwest of the province.

The occupation forces also stormed the town of Dhahrieh south of Hebron, firing live ammunition and tear gas extensively, coinciding with large-scale home raids.

The incursions also included the town of Zawiya west of Salfit, the town of Qaryut southeast of Nablus, and the village of Tayaser east of Tubas, while live ammunition and sound bombs were fired during the storming of the village of Asira al-Qibliya south of Nablus.

The occupation forces continue to carry out simultaneous raids in different areas of the West Bank, amidst military reinforcements and ongoing home raids and arrest campaigns.
