Trump: Agreement with Iran is Scheduled to Be Signed Tomorrow, Sunday

SadaNews - US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that the United States is scheduled to sign an agreement with Iran tomorrow, Sunday.

Trump wrote via his account on Truth Social: "The agreement is scheduled to be signed tomorrow, and as soon as it is signed, the Strait of Hormuz will be open to all."

The US president added: "We hope that this process goes quickly, easily, and smoothly, and if that does not happen, we have the ultimate alternative."

Trump continued: "In due time, when calm prevails, we will enter and obtain the nuclear dust."

The US president clarified regarding Iran: "In fact, they no longer want a nuclear weapon, and they will not have one, whether through purchase, development, or any other form of acquisition."

He confirmed that the relationship with Iran is "different and much better than that of previous administrations."

Regarding the release of funds held by Iran, Trump wrote: "Our relationship with Iran is different and much better than that of previous administrations. Unlike the hundreds of billions of dollars that Obama paid them, including $1.7 billion in cash, no money will be exchanged."

He noted that "in due time, when calm prevails, we will enter and extract the nuclear dust buried deep under the strong granite mountains, thanks to our B-2 bombers and their brilliant pilots, and we will neutralize and destroy it, whether in Iran or in the United States."

US President returned to a tone of threat, saying: "We look forward to working with Iran, and with the entire Middle East, for many years to come. We hope that this whole process goes quickly, easily, and smoothly. And if that does not happen, we have the ultimate alternative, and we hope we do not have to use it again!"

In a related context, Pakistan, which is mediating between the United States and Iran, announced on Saturday the electronic signing ceremony of a peace agreement that is expected to take place tomorrow, Sunday.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the two sides are "closer to a peace agreement than ever before," and that an agreement is expected within the next 24 hours.

In a separate post on "X", Sharif said Pakistan is preparing for the electronic signing of the agreement, which could happen once the final drafting is complete, adding that technical-level talks will follow next week.

Sharif wrote: "We are confident that this historic peace agreement will form a strong foundation for lasting peace."
