This marks a new step that embodies the bank's firm commitment to empowering this group and enhancing its active presence in society.

The cooperation agreements stipulate support for organizing tournaments and sports events, providing logistical and training needs, and contributing to the preparation and qualification of athletes, which contributes to developing the Palestinian Paralympic movement and enhancing its presence as an essential component of the national sports scene.

The agreements were signed at the Palestine Bank headquarters in Ramallah, with the participation of General Director Mr. Mahmoud Al-Shawa, President of the Palestinian Paralympic Committee and Special Olympics Mr. Marwan Washahi, alongside several representatives from both organizations. The two parties emphasized the importance of expanding national partnerships that open broader horizons for athletes with disabilities, enabling them to showcase their abilities and achieve commendable accomplishments at local, regional, and international levels.

Al-Shawa stated that this partnership aligns with Palestine Bank's vision centered on investing in people and providing fair opportunities for everyone to participate, succeed, and excel, affirming that people with disabilities possess significant potentials that deserve to be supported and nurtured. He added that the bank supports sports not only as a competition but as a message of hope, a platform for self-confidence, a bridge for social inclusion, and a space for individuals to demonstrate their ability to overcome challenges and achieve excellence.

Al-Shawa pointed out that Palestinian Paralympic achievements represent a story of national determination that deserves support, emphasizing that the bank will continue to support initiatives that promote social justice and provide youth with real opportunities for development, creativity, and dignified representation of Palestine.

For his part, Washahi expressed his appreciation to Palestine Bank for this qualitative initiative, confirming that this cooperation will provide an important boost for developing sports programs and tournaments implemented by the committee, expanding the scope of its services, and raising athletes' readiness for upcoming challenges.

He added that the partnership with Palestine Bank represents a national model of cooperation between the private sector and sports institutions, contributing to building a more inclusive and equitable environment, allowing people with disabilities to fully exercise their rights in sports, excellence, and achievement.
