Governor of the Monetary Authority Meets with Employees of the Monetary Authority from Gaza Currently in Egypt
SadaNews - The Governor of the Monetary Authority, Yahya Shanar, met with a number of employees of the Monetary Authority working in the Gaza Strip, who are currently in the Arab Republic of Egypt due to the recent war on the Gaza Strip.
The governor listened to their humanitarian and living conditions and the challenges they face, affirming the Monetary Authority's commitment to support them, assist them, enhance communication with them, and fulfill its obligations towards them, pointing out that the staff of the Monetary Authority is a fundamental pillar in ensuring the institution's continued operation.
The governor also informed the employees about the latest developments in the Monetary Authority's work and the efforts being made to ensure their readiness to return to work and resume their tasks according to the approved mechanisms and procedures to guarantee the continuity of their work.
He also reviewed the efforts made by the Monetary Authority during the war period to alleviate the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip, particularly by enhancing the use of electronic payment methods to facilitate transactions and meet essential needs under the current circumstances.
