National Bank Launches the Fourth Edition of the "Start It Right" Program for Banking Education for School Students
SadaNews - The National Bank has launched the fourth edition of the banking education program "Start It Right" for school students. The bank welcomed 18 students from the eleventh grade to provide them with theoretical and practical training sessions aimed at raising financial and banking awareness among this demographic and enhancing their financial inclusion.
The program includes several axes covering basic banking concepts, the use of electronic payment methods for daily purchases and bill payments, financial planning, budget creation, and expense management, along with sessions to raise awareness about information security, currency exchange, and investment. The program also includes field visits, including a visit to the headquarters of the Palestinian Monetary Authority to learn about its role and a visit to the new bank branch in "Icon Mall" to understand how bank branches operate.
Commenting on this, the Public Relations Manager at the National Bank, Reem Anani, stated that due to the success of the program in its previous editions and in response to requests from schools, the fourth edition was launched despite all the existing political and security challenges coinciding with the return of schools to in-person education. Anani emphasized the importance of the program in producing a financially and banking-aware generation capable of making sound financial decisions based on knowledge.
It is worth mentioning that the program started its first edition last year and graduated more than 45 students in 2025.
