An-Najah Institute for Global Health Organizes a Free Medical Day in the Qataba Suburb of Tulkarem City
SadaNews - The An-Najah Institute for Global Health organized a free medical day in the Qataba suburb of Tulkarem City last Tuesday, in collaboration with An-Najah National University Hospital, An-Najah Medical Clinics, the Dentists' Association, Al-Makassed Hospital, and the Qataba Municipality. This event was the fourth in a series of medical days organized by the institute to enhance access for our displaced people in Tulkarem to healthcare services.

Under the management and supervision of Dr. Basma Al-Dumeiri, the medical day saw participation from a team of 68 medical and support staff, with a total of 287 beneficiaries from various clinics. The services provided included those related to diabetes, diabetic foot, retina, therapeutic nutrition, pediatrics, family medicine, orthopedics, urology, neurology, and dentistry, as well as hearing tests, eye examinations, and early breast cancer screenings.
The fourth medical day reflects the spirit of volunteer work and integration between academic, health, and community institutions, with participation from staff of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Department of Audiology, Speech, Optics, and Nutrition, An-Najah Medical Clinics at An-Najah National University, An-Najah National University Hospital, Al-Makassed Hospital, the Palestinian Dentists' Association, and the Palestinian Medical Relief Society.
In a gesture of appreciation reflecting the importance of community partnership, the Public Relations Committee of the Security Apparatus in Tulkarem honored the An-Najah Institute for Global Health in recognition of its efforts in organizing and executing these medical days and its ongoing services to the residents of the governorate. The Palestinian Preventive Security also honored Dr. Basma Al-Dumeiri for her leadership role and efforts in organizing and supervising these medical campaigns and her commitment to delivering free healthcare services to the most disadvantaged groups. The fourth day represented an important milestone in a series of medical days aimed at enhancing access to quality and free health services, especially for children, the elderly, and patients with chronic diseases, and it embodied an effective model of integration among official, academic, and community institutions in serving the people of Tulkarem Governorate.
