National Bank and Nablus Municipality Renew Their Strategic Partnership
SadaNews - Nablus Municipality and the National Bank signed a cooperation agreement today to renew their strategic partnership, aimed at facilitating financial transactions for the municipality and citizens. The agreement was signed by Dr. Hussam Al-Shakhsheer, Mayor of Nablus, and Mr. Raafat Al-Ashqar, Director of Strategic Accounts Management at the National Bank, in the presence of a team from the bank's executive management, along with Dr. Zahra Al-Wawi, Deputy Mayor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mr. Nasser Shahin, a member of the municipal council, and Walida Abu Al-Huda, the municipality's financial director.
Under the agreement, the National Bank will renew its presence in Nablus Municipality through a cash drawer employee who will collect fees resulting from daily financial transactions for citizens at the public services center in Nablus Municipality, in addition to providing distinctive facilities for the municipality's financial transactions and its staff.
Commenting on this, Dr. Hussam Al-Shakhsheer praised the National Bank, considering it one of the leading banks operating in Palestine, for its achievements that have contributed to the development of the banking services sector. He explained that renewing this agreement will provide the municipality with a range of facilities and services that will positively reflect on the financial system of Nablus Municipality, asserting that this agreement enhances the municipality's direction towards expanding partnerships with the private sector in various fields.
In his speech during the signing, Al-Ashqar emphasized that the relationship between the National Bank and Nablus Municipality represents a strategic partnership that has lasted for years, appreciating the municipality's ongoing trust in the National Bank, and pointing to the importance of integrating efforts between different institutions to contribute to the development of vital sectors and improving the level of services provided to citizens, reaffirming the National Bank's commitment to support local authorities and provide banking solutions that help facilitate financial services for citizens.
