The Monetary Authority and the Banks Association Hold a Preparatory Meeting to Discuss the Activities of the Banking Week for Children and Youth 2026

SadaNews - The Monetary Authority, in collaboration with the Banks Association in Palestine, held a meeting to discuss the preparations for the activities of the Banking Week for Children and Youth in 2026.

The meeting was attended by the General Director of the Banks Association in Palestine, Bashar Yassin, and the representative of the Monetary Authority, Head of the Financial Inclusion Department, Muhannad Al-Salaous, as well as representatives from the banks operating in Palestine.

During the meeting, ideas and proposals were discussed to develop the activities of the upcoming Banking Week, aiming to enhance financial literacy among children and youth, expand participation, and achieve the educational and awareness goals of the program.

The participants emphasized the importance of the partnership between the Monetary Authority and the banks operating in Palestine to ensure the success of the events, and its role in raising financial awareness and promoting savings and financial planning concepts among this demographic.

It is noteworthy that the Banking Week for Children and Youth is an annual event organized by the Monetary Authority in cooperation with the Banks Association, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and other partners, aiming to promote financial and banking culture, and to educate school students about developments in banking products, digital transformation, and financial technology, preparing them for their financial and economic future.
