The Monetary Authority Invites the Public to Participate in Providing Feedback on the Draft Law to Reduce Cash Usage
SadaNews - The Monetary Authority has invited all citizens and interested parties to review the draft law to reduce cash usage, which was prepared in consultation with several official entities and the private sector, "based on its commitment to enhancing transparency and partnership with the public".
The Monetary Authority stated that the project "aims to develop a more efficient and secure financial environment, to overcome the problem of cash accumulation in the Palestinian market, and to encourage the shift toward electronic payment methods that serve individuals and institutions alike".
The Monetary Authority emphasized the importance of public participation by sharing their views during this phase of the law's preparation, and invites everyone to review the text of the draft and provide their feedback and suggestions via the website:
